Daddy's Birthday

Here we go again-these yearly happenings creep up so quickly!  I think I'm going to quit keeping count for me and Aaron:)  Daddy's birthday fell on a Sunday this year, so we were fortunate to have both sets of parents come over for the occasion.  This year the party included Raisin Nut Bran (which the kids quickly identified as an old people cereal, so he got Cookie Crisp also), new pens, Khaki pants, drawer organizers and a box of twinkies.  He actually purchased one of those tall, upright, rolling tool boxes with all the drawers that he's always wanted for the garage when it went on a super sale recently, so we're counting that as his real birthday treasure.  For dinner we ate ribs, rolls, waldorf salad, and layered jello, then topped things off with a cookie cake and ice cream.  His parents brought over some slides to show us on their slide projector-the kids were in awe at such a contraption!!  We have all decided that Adam really is Aaron reincarnated-his little boy pictures look exactly like Adam!

Inside joke: once in a while when Aaron has sweatpants or pajama pants on, Adam will accuse him of wearing Leo (Yeo) pants and then bust out laughing.  We have no idea where this came from but it always makes us laugh!

So grateful for our Daddy!
