I'm not quite sure what got into Aaron this year, but he really had fun with the pinata for our Christmas Eve celebration this year. He decided to make a minion and it turned out to be pretty awesome! I think we were all a little sad to beat him up after having him in our kitchen to look at for the few weeks prior.
We also invited one of Aaron's home teaching families to join us. They have 4 older girls and it was very entertaining. Muna was in charge of the prizes and she filled it with colored socks, head bands, bandaids, sponges, mini notepads, marshmallow wands as well as a few other candies-it was fantastic! And the best part was when Grandma and Grandpa Smyth drove up in the middle of our festivities-we're so thankful they made it across country safely, but more on that later:)
After our friends went home, we ate our traditional hoerdurves dinner with all the Grandmas and Grandpas and Uncle David and re-enacted the Christmas story from the Bible. It was SO nice to be all together-the best present of all!
