Jane had a field trip to the National Zoo. Out of the 18 parents who volunteered to chaperone, I was picked 18th:( However, another Mom (who hadn't been selected either) invited Leo and me to crash the Zoo day with them, so we did!
We thought this orangutan might be climbing up to do some tricks but I think he just wanted to be up high to people watch. The lions were in rare form-one even paced and roared for us. Leo and I liked watching the turtle pond. The seals were spectacular performers, as usual and the elephants even swayed together like they were dancing. It was a great day at the zoo:)
