More April Stuff

Andrew got an academic excellence award for math.  Here he is with the other two LDS kids in his class (who just happened to be getting awards also) and the infamous Mr. Reichard.

After months and months of taking the deck apart, Aaron finally laid down the first new piece of wood-hooray!!  It's the little one without tools on it.  Then a few days later the upper level is almost walkable again.  I must also voice my gratitude for the angels that having been watching over him so he doesn't kill himself on this dangerous project.  He's fallen through once:-/

We got to spend a few precious hours with this lovely lady the last weekend in April.  Paps's mother, great grandmother Kulbeth, came for a short visit.  We had everyone over for dinner on Sunday, played some Disney Bingo, and took photos.  She lives on a farm in Arkansas all by herself and enjoys gardening and seeing her extensive posterity-40 grandkids and the 60th great grandbaby will arrive this fall.

This was one of my favorites-Grandmother's maiden name is Porter.  That's how Aaron got his middle name and then we passed it on to our eldest.  Porter is also wearing the hat that Grandmother's father use to wear.
