Jane has had a hard year physically. She is definitely our most active child and maybe that's why. In the very first week of soccer season she was kicked unintentionally in the ankle by another boy on her team. The first diagnosis was a deep tissue bruise. After months of limping, no PE and missing her entire soccer season, we went to another doctor who diagnosed a bone bruise that hurts like a break but takes way longer to heal. He put her in a boot and that immediately gave her some relief. Thank goodness it was summer because swimming was the only exercise she was allowed. And she is wearing the boot until there is no pain and then weaning off of it. My girl is a trooper!! While we were in Richmond to visit the doctor, we stopped by Maymont park to see the waterfall.
