Our Dad deserves a great day--sometimes his people are less than fantastic in thinking of ways to honor him. This year we made him a balloon friend. Daddy is fun like this balloon guy. He works hard and he plays hard. He always has about 5 house projects going on-at this point our deck is half finished, 2 parts on the sides of our house are rotten and waiting to be replaced, 2 leaks in two bathrooms, the attic is about 3/4 re-insulated, and the back splash in the kitchen has been demolished but not replaced yet. What I really wanted to get him for Father's Day is about 4 more hours in each day:) He has instilled in the children a desire to learn about the world and how things work. He plans on entering the Stafford County Christmas parade this winter to walk in his stilts and throw candy. We're so thankful for Daddy!
