Our one and only girl turned eight this year. She has been counting down for a long time. She was SO happy all day long. We celebrated with on oreo ice cream cake, complete with penguins ice skating on the top. She got lots of tape for all her projects, a cool animal book and new scriptures. Back in January she decided she wanted to read the Book of Mormon before her baptism and with a little bit of 'together reading' with Mom the last few months, she made it! We are so proud of her and she got to go on a special date to celebrate her accomplishment.
Jane is a bit particular about her Sunday clothes, so we searched high and low until we found a stretchy dress that wasn't poofy:) She looked beautiful!
Jane got baptized with another girl from her primary class, Izabella Glasgow and it was a full house. We were grateful to have so many family members there! Ms. Anne and Ms. Alba also came to see her.
