March Madness

Man, sometimes life is really crazy with all these kids!  But we wouldn't have the happiness without the madness right?!?  And just to clarify, madness as in being busy/not always angry altho we do have our moments:)

Okay, so Leo and Adam like to do a lot of things in their underwear lately, like shooting imaginary foes while spinning in a computer chair.  I also was surprised to find the following (potentially dangerous) activity on the stairs one day when I thought to myself, "wow, they are playing so happily together for such a long time up stairs".  We all know when those thoughts trickle in to mommy brains that it's time to go check things out.

 They had actually emptied the ENTIRE linen closet, half of which was in a heap at the bottom of the closet (you know, the non fluffy stuff like sheets and wash cloths).  All the blankets and pillow were being put to good use right here tho.  It ended up being okay since I really needed to clean out and better organize the thing anyway...but they better not do it again:)

 We've never been big St. Patty's Day celebrators, but I did make a green coffee cake for breakfast, which despite my efforts, we still had one child in tears (who is really too old to be in tears) since that isn't a treat he loves...sigh.  And Daddy brought home a 'green party in a box' which he won during some work meeting that day.  So the kids had fun getting their green garb on.

 A new favorite past-time: listening to dance music with big drops and trying to jump at the right time.  It's pretty hilarious to watch...like unto Studio C.

 One of the trees in our back yard died a few years ago and "Hallelujah"-removing it finally made it to the priority list!  Above is the cutter and below is the clearing crew.

Replacing our deck has also leapt to the top of the priority list.  The railing has given way in several spots on Aaron and I when we've been trimming trees.  And the spindles in the railings are literally no stronger than toothpicks-kinda scary.  Leo and I came out to supervise for a while.  Hopefully this project won't take till the end of the year, but at least we know the probability of death will be greatly diminished no matter how long it takes!
