Our one and only girl turned another year older on the 21st! Lucky duck had a Sunday birthday this year so she didn't even have to go to school. We ate cookie birthday cereal and painted nails in the morning before church.
After church we had a special visit from Aunt Pat who brought her freind MaryLee from Washington State to tour DC. They joined us for dinner and a few party games-pin the banana on the monkey, and bean bag toss.
Jane requested a monkey ice cream cake.

It was a fun crowd--we were just missing Porter, Muna and Papa who had flown out to Utah for cousin Joshua's ordination to the Priesthood.
We love our Jane and are so proud of the confident, spunky, sweet girl she is. It's hard being the only girl sometimes, but she is a patient sister and is just what we need in the midst of all these brothers!! She loves soccer, writing, the squirl game, eating treats and dressing in animal costumes.
