First day of 4th and 1st

The boys had an extra exciting first day of school this year because it was during a week long stay with their grandparents. My sister Rachel got married the Saturday before school started, so I missed out on the fun, but Dad documented the memorable morning. Here they are enjoying a treat breakfast of french toast sticks.

The dinosaur accompanied them to the bus stop that morning-looking good kiddos!

Loading the bus...and they're off! We got a great report at the end of the day. Andrew was most thrilled with recess and Porter had a lot of old friends in his class. Andrew has Porter's 1st grade teacher, Mrs. Evans this year and Porter has Mrs. Polluck.
