After watching the local trash company come through the Stafford Christmas parade last year, Aaron decided ANYONE could be in the parade. His wheels started churning and in September, the 'Candy Cane Elves' were born. Work pretty much took over our lives (and dining room) for the next 3 months. He recruited several of the children to join him.
When the actual day of the parade arrived, Stafford was drenched which was extremely disappointing. Some of the props were not water proof, so walking wet was not an option. Luckily, the kid's elementary school was having an indoor Christmas event a few days later and happily accepted us into their entertainment line up. Andrew pulled kids around the cafeteria in the sleigh while Jane and Adam handed out candy.
