June Flurry

 June, June, June, where did you go?  June started off with Porter being inducted to the National Junior Honor Society-we are so proud of his efforts at an age when so many kids are trying to find their place:)

 Preschool 'graduation' at the park (Rylee, Brooklin, Liam, James, and Adam).  This photo pretty much sums up their year.  Two cute little girls that cooperated completely and three goofy boys that tried to drive us crazy-fun times.

 The deck continues...slowly, but surely.

 Adam, Leo and I met some old neighbors at Braehead farm one windy day.  The boys especially loved digging-no surprise there.  We even got to pick some fresh strawberries on our way out.

 The last day of school, happy in the morning and sad in the afternoon, but luckily we dried up those tears on the way to the park with some water balloons and popsicles.

 Porter celebrated the end of the year with some of his school buddies and smores.

 Aaron's cousin Jessica Elizabeth got married this month also.  She married William Bennett and I cannot say their names without thinking about 'Pride and Prejudice'!  I'm sure he's a very nice guy.  Unfortunately I didn't get to meet him since I was back and forth the bathroom with Leo no less than 7 times!  The joys of potty training:)

 Adam was determined to get the cloth napkin to stay around his neck.  Leo enjoyed the drinks, but buttering his roll was as close as he got to consuming any of the food.  Thank goodness Muna had a bag of trail mix in her purse because that was both Adam's and Leo's nutrition for the night.

 Happy Father's Day!  Sundays are so busy, I almost feel like we need a re-do to celebrate Aaron and all the hard work he puts into being an awesome Dad.  He is the fun half of our family-bike rides, kickball games, ping pong, marbles and a million other fun activities.  He also teaches us life lessons with the humor that is just part of who he is.  

Jane also came up with these cards (with smarties) to give to her brothers which was ultra thoughtful considering how often she is not happy with them.  Not sure where she got a glimpse of the bigger picture of life, but her kindness is worth remembering.

 This was a sad attempt to come up with a plan B on the fly when the river we went to swim in was closed b/c of high water.  We had never been to Crow's Nest, so we headed there, but it was also disappointing-dirty, stinky, swampy water at the end of a short deck. At least Leo and Aaron tried to give us a laugh.  And there's June!
