12 Days of Christmas

Well, it just about felt like that this year...okay maybe just 3 days. We went to Arizona to be with the Smyth relatives this year so rather than paying to 'check' our gifts there and back Santa thought he better come early. This also happened to be the day that Stafford received the largest snow storm since 1922, so we enjoyed a white early Christmas.

Then we were off (and fortunately scheduled at the only open airport after the blizzard) to Arizona where we made candy trains,
met new cousins,
acted out the Christmas story (yes, wise man Andrew is bringing the baby Jesus a dinosaur),

celebrated Grandpa Smyth's 60th birthdayBYU style,
and managed to enjoy the 8th anniversary of our wedded bliss:)
Then back across the country we flew to culminate our Christmas festivities with the traditional Kulbeth Piniata. Jane tried her best, but eventually it was Porter who defeated the sneaky shark. Merry Christmas to all until next year!
